General Information
Lyle Alzado would have likely never played in the NFL had a scout for the Denver Broncos not had automobile issues and decided to pass the time by scouting Montana Tech. Impressed with the school's offense, the Broncos drafted Alzado who became one of the team's star linemen. Alzado is perhaps best known for his abuse of anabolic steroids which may have caused the brain cancer which tragically claimed his life in 1992.
